I have worked with Nexus IT & Communications Solutions in various roles that I have held for almost ten years. We currently retain Nexus as our IT outsourcing partner and rely upon them for IT strategy and procurement as well as day to day system support.
In mid 2006 we undertook a major project - namely taking a monthly magazine and changing it's frequency to weekly. Nexus designed, project managed and implemented a major upgrade of software, systems, servers, storage and user workstations that resulted in that successful transition which is now OK! Australia.
Their teams cheerfully dealt with shifting deadlines from building contractors to support all the editorial, production and administration teams in the move and hit every deadline we set.
The project also included foundation publishing automation technologies that have become key tools in meeting challenging weekly deadlines as well as adding significantly to our quality control processes. Importantly, the project ran within budget and Nexus kept us informed of progress every step of the way.
Having worked with Nexus I am happy to recommend them as excellent partners in IT generally and in supporting publishing workflow specifically. I believe that they are the most knowledgeable IT concern in my area and have total confidence in them through their constant reporting, adherence to budgets and unfailing 'can do' attitude which then produces results -- I could not commend them more highly.
