1. Remove all non-business related applications
Not all applications are written as well as they
should be and can cause your computer to experience everything from
sluggish behaviour to lockups and crashes. Even programs which are
well written, but run in the background, such as programs running
in the system tray (next to the clock in the bottom right hand corner)
consume system resources such as memory and CPU. Even the fastest
computer will slow down if you load it up with enough memory resident
programs. Generally speaking, make your computer do less and it
will run faster.
